It may be my hormones but I'm considering Mabel as 3 day old DD's name? It means loveable, adorable and I'm finding it hard to match. Thoughts please ladies...

I love it!

Me too. Go for it Smile

One of my Guinea pigs is called Mabel and a friend independently named her chicken Mabel.

I think that's colouring my view of it.

DestinyTheWhale · 02/09/2016 19:34

I have an Aunty Mabel (don't we allGrin) and she's ever so nice so it's a thumbs up from me.

I know a chicken and a cat and a cow called Mabel.

Not keen on these frumpy granny names. MN loves it though.

FranHastings · 02/09/2016 19:36

I love it and if I had another girl, I would call her Mabel.

Pixilicious · 02/09/2016 19:37

Fabulous name, go for it!

Sheddie · 02/09/2016 19:38

I have a 4yo Mabel and I'm so glad we chose the name. People always say how much they like it. Congrats!

catsofa · 02/09/2016 19:38

I love it, easy to say and spell, definitely an under used name.

Loyly · 02/09/2016 19:39

Friends' 7 year old daughter is called Mabel and I love it. Would consider it if I had another girl.
