Japanese Names That Work In The UK?

Hi, I'm half-Japanese (grew up in the UK) and DH is Japanese (grew up in Japan). We are looking for names that work in both countries/languages.

For a boy

My nephew is mixed race Japanese/English and they chose James. I think Japanese names definitely work better in English than English names in Japan.

I love Hiro and we were considering it even though we have no Japanese connections.
