What do you think of these two names and do you think they are to similar to use as brothers, with the possible nns of Teddy and Freddie?
My preference would be Teddy and Wilf/Wilfie as nns though.

Wilfred seems to be really popular on here lately, why I cannot fathom. Theodore is better but a bit of a mouth full. A child can only carry a cutsie nickname for so long

Like Theodore , give you the potential nn of Ted, Teddy, or Theo.
Dislike Wilfred and Wilf/Wilfie

Theodore is lovely and so are the usual nns. Wilfred or Wilf is awful, sorry.

Both full names are great, but you really can't have brothers called Teddy and Freddy - that's so twee!

Theo and Freddie are nice, don't like Wilfred/Wif/Wilfie.

MrsGsnow18 · 21/08/2016 19:15

I'm not a huge fan of the NN Teddy and don't think it would be ideal having Teddy and Freddy, I imagine some children would laugh at that.
Theodore and Wilfred go well together though. Wilf/ Fred and Theo would be my
Choice of shortened versions.

So Theodore and Wilfred as full names are okay as siblings?

My border terrier is called Wilfred! I love the name. Unfortunately people do shorten it to Wilf, which I don't like as much, or Wilfie, which is quite sweet! We've completed our family now (2 girls) but if we hadn't then I half wish we had saved the name for a boy! X

I think I just outed myself! Ha ha!

Lovely names and, yes, great as siblings. I live Theo/ Ted and Wilf as nns.
