Pregnant with dc3 and not finding out about the gender! So here's the shortlist for each sex, just wondering which are your favourites and honest opinions? We have Emilia and Rafe already

Girls:

Boys:

I've seen the name Erza on like four threads today.

Never heard it before. Sounds like a hipster healthfood or a kind of lentil. Or a Sesame Street character, Gonzo's sibling?

I'm not keen.

Big fan of short names. I gave DS a long one which no one can spell and the nickname for it has about four alternative spellings.

Names they can write and spell early are awesome.

Leo - the lion? What about Theo?
Ezra - what? Is this even a name? It's George Ezra's surname...also, I think anything ending with an a is female.
Finn - not bad, goes with Rafe

Ava. Leo or Ezra. To me the others don't gel as well with your other DCs' names, if that makes any sense!

Agree with Joffrey about Ezra. Never heard of it or met anyone called it. Don't be that trend!

However, Elodie is lovely and I also like Leo a lot.

I feel like Carly and Ezra are very "marmite" names, some people love them and some hate them!

I like Elodie but would avoid having two of the same sex with the same initial. Available is lovely but very "now" if that would bother you. I like Bella, especially as a shortening of Arabella. Carl doesn't fit well with your first two for me.
out of the boys I like Leo best. Ezra fits well with Rafe and I don't think a repeated initial matters so much if they are different sexes. Finn I'm not so keen on.

Carly is far too 80s and doesn't match your other children's names. They're classy, and Carly is not.

And before any Carly's complain, I have a 70s/80s name that begins with a K and isn't classy either

Yes a friend of mine said Carly wasn't classy and didn't go well with Emilia and Rafe, what do people think? It seems that most people think it's horrible...

I think Carly sounds dreadful with your other DCs' names - sorry!

To me, Emilia and Rafe are 'naice', middle class names, and Carly is more...90s council estate.

Carla is much better, if you're set on it? Or, even better with your other DCs' names is Clara.

Ezra and Finn are both sound names, but there's a risk they'll date. If that bothers you (not that it should) go for Leo.
