Just be careful, sounds a bit like Isil, which is another name for isis...

Saw a thread about a girl called Isis who now gets a really hard time at school. It's such a beautiful name it's a real shame.

If you can't work out how to spell it then no one else will be able to spell it and that's a good enough reason not to use it.

I'm not pregnant. I was just curious and figured the Mumsnet hive mind would be able to tell me.

I always loved the name Isis (before daesh started using it obviously). Have to say I did think of 'Isil' when I read the thread title which would probably put me off.
