HELP, I am due to have my C section in 7 days and my partner and I can not agree on any names, just when we think we may have it, one of us decides we no longer like the names. Does anyone have any suggestions for twin girls, we don't want anything common nor do we want anything too unusual just very pretty and classic. Please help Confused

Only one name but my friend recently called her little girl Sylvie - unusual but I thought it was really pretty

As a mum of twins I would recommend giving them names with different initials. Then there is no confusion over whose post or belongings are whose, and it's better for encouraging individualism in my view. Good luck with it all. It is an amazing thing being parents to twins. Very intense but fabulous in many ways!

I have twin girls - congratulations, it's a mad but special thing!

Both my girls' names have been mentioned above, though not in pairs.

I read something when I'd already named mine about having one name ending with the first letter of the other name (eg Sarah and Helen). My names do this, but just by coincidence! I don't really know whether it makes them 'go' better together or not...

I also agree with pp who said have different initials. I think it helps them to be individuals - plus makes the post easier when they start getting letters.

This isn't a twin thing particulate, but when you're calling them it also helps not to have three names that pretty much rhyme (as I have discovered too late Grin)
