I love Edie! Ok...
Edie and Max
Edie and Rafferty
Edie and Jacob
Edie and Levi
Edie and Noah
Edie and Billy
Edie and Arthur
Edie and Ben
Edie and Oscar

My favourite is Louis, but I'm prejudiced.

When I first saw Edie I thought of William, but it's probably too popular for you. Benedict? Barney sounds like Barmy. Jago sounds like Sago, though that probably means nothing nowadays. Louis it is, then!

littlepeas · 29/06/2016 23:47

I hear Edie in a Scottish accent, so I would say something like Arran, or Brodie. Maybe Alec? That said, I LOVE Jago! Henry and George are lovely names, but don't really 'go' with Edie. Barney is rubble/gumble to me, though I like Barnaby.

Milo

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 30/06/2016 00:46

Edie and Lachlan
Edie and Oliver
Edie and Sean
Edie and Hugo
Edie and Theo
Edie and Louie
Edie and Noah

Lambiepies · 30/06/2016 08:45

Got to the point where all names are just a noise and can't recognise a good one! For various reasons a definite no to Louis, Theo, Noah, Oliver, max, Jacob, William - mainly as close friends/family members.

Milo and Alec are good but dh says no way (bit racy!)

Thanks for the suggestions so far

Edie and Griffin
Edie and Gwilym
Edie and Francis
Edie and Eldon
Edie and Harlan
Edie and Cormac
Edie and Bill
Edie and Keir
Edie and Kester
Edie and Leo
Edie and Tobin
Edie and Jasper

FWIW, Barney was on our list (although I also once had a dog called Barney, and, believe it or not, a boyfriend called Benedict!!) but I don't think it goes perfectly with Edie.

Gummibaers · 30/06/2016 11:01

Is Edie short for Edward?

I like Jago or how about Milo.

Lambiepies · 30/06/2016 11:38

Edie - short for Edith

Love Keir but doesn't work with our surname

Edie & Archie sounds great. Or...
Arlo
Harley
Taig
Wilfred
Harvey

Lambiepies · 30/06/2016 11:54

I like all of those. Not heard taig - how is it said?

It's like the first syllable of tiger, ty+ a hard g. It's Irish.

ridingalonginanarmytruck · 30/06/2016 14:44

Charlie and Fred
Charlie and David (v underused these days IMO)
Charlie and Pip (Philip)
Charlie and Kit (Christopher)
Charlie and Robert (again, underused and a lovely name-they could be Charlie and Bob! Great combo!)
