We are due DC2 in a couple of months and already have a DD called Matilda/Tilly. We were sorted for girl's names with a definite and two 'back up' names but are really struggling to find a boy's name we love. Here's our (long) short list, any other suggestions welcome!

Finlay
Oliver (love this but not sure if it will be shortened to Olly and therefore we'd have Tilly/Olly - too samey?)
Lucas
Henry
George
Alexander/Alex
Oscar

Other names I like but can't use for various reasons are Arlo, James and Thomas/Tom.

All very popular/trendy names already, but if I had to choose, then probably Lucas or Henry.

How about
Elliot
Quentin
Reuben
Rufus

What about Theodore? Nickname Theo, or perhaps Teddy.

Lucas or George

I think the Olly/Tilly combo is really cute! And Oliver is the most popular name on this website: www.babynames.co.uk/baby-boys-names/names-for-baby-boys-letter-o/oliver/

I'm pregnant with DC2, DD is Phoebe but this one will be Matilda or Henry! So I think Henry is perfect.

I know two Matildas

One has a brother Max
One a brother Jude

Would these names appeal?

BrieAndChilli · 28/06/2016 19:43
