Keeping up appearances

Ikeameatballs · 26/06/2016 22:00

Horrid

Only1scoop · 26/06/2016 22:01

Awful

RJnomore1 · 26/06/2016 22:02

I always wanted to be called Sheridan when I was little. I used to sign my drawings Sheridan. I am very jealous of Sheridan smith,

👍🏻 from me.

CancelTheCheque · 26/06/2016 22:04

Love it. First read it in a book. Never met one in real life.

ElspethFlashman · 26/06/2016 22:04

I'm sorry, but........

Oh hilarious!

I must admit KUA wasn't my first thought, Sheridan Smith was. But now all I can hear is Hyacinth Bucket!

I do think it's a nice name though.

PotteringAlong · 26/06/2016 22:33

No

villainousbroodmare · 26/06/2016 22:34

Hyacinth! no other thoughts, I fear. Grin

OhTheRoses · 26/06/2016 22:35

I thought Hyacinth too. It's a surname!

Raines100 · 27/06/2016 06:32

Would it be for a boy or a girl, OP?
Boy= Hyacinth Bucket
Girl= Sheridan Smith

WellDoYaPunks · 27/06/2016 07:53

Oh girl definitely- I was thinking Sheridan smith
I'm not sure hyacinth would be relevant to her & her peers...!
I like it but just not 100% sure!

JazzAnnNonMouse · 27/06/2016 07:59

It's a chardonnay name to me...

PotteringAlong · 27/06/2016 08:19

Maybe not, but it would be relevant to every parent of friends, every volunteer at a group and every teacher they have...

Only1scoop · 27/06/2016 08:55

Sherry
Shez

Yes a Chardonnay esque type name

Still keep hearing "Sheridan" Bucket though

JakeyB · 27/06/2016 12:27

Only ever known one, many years ago. She was very posh, but also a bit of a snob not helpful in the least .

alexandragimenez · 27/06/2016 13:11

I don't really like it - sorry. Maybe Sherry?

Pinklily1 · 27/06/2016 20:36

Also makes me think of Sheridan Smith, which isn't a particularly good thing given her recent issues.

1horatio · 27/06/2016 21:04

The only Sheridan I know is a simply lovely woman. Smart, educated, lovely kids, a nice husband...

So, I personally really like the nameSmile

Strokethefurrywall · 27/06/2016 21:16

I like it too, knew of one when I was in high school and think Sheridan Smith is lovely so it's a thumbs up from me!

LadyAntonella · 27/06/2016 21:44

I immediately thought of Keeping Up Appearances which isn't great.

MitzyLeFrouf · 27/06/2016 22:54

Yep, Keeping Up Appearances.

SomeDaysIDontGiveAMonkeys · 27/06/2016 23:13
