Hiya! Looking for thoughts on the name Joylynn?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Creatureofthenight · 25/06/2016 17:50

Not visually pleasing.

DramaAlpaca · 25/06/2016 17:53

It sounds like an American country music singer, and like Creature said it's not visually pleasing.

PotatoBread · 26/06/2016 07:07

It looks clunky written down and it doesn't flow easy from the mouth when trying to say it.

The name Joy is lovely on its own IMO

BlossomHillOne · 26/06/2016 08:18

I initially quickly read it as Jolyon and then stumbled over the actual name - sorry I don't like it.

LadyStarkOfWinterfell · 26/06/2016 08:22

Dreadful I'm afraid

sooperdooper · 26/06/2016 08:24

I'm not quite sure how I'd pronounce it immediately, not keen, sorry

Joy is lovely on its own - could it be Joy with Lynn as the middle name?

Or Joy-Lynn?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 26/06/2016 08:31

It's a Duggar's name so a no from me.

Joy is lovely.

tattychicken · 26/06/2016 08:32

Just no.

Oblique27 · 26/06/2016 08:49

No

EmpressOfTheSevenOceans · 26/06/2016 08:54

I'd go for Joy with Lynn as second name.

Tiggeryoubastard · 26/06/2016 08:58

Joylynn lives in a trailer with a man in a vest.

eyebrowsonfleek · 26/06/2016 09:01

What about Jocelyn?

RandomMess · 26/06/2016 09:07

I also thought it was Jolyon at first.

I think Jocelyn is much nicer than Joy Lynne.

SuburbanRhonda · 26/06/2016 09:10

tigger

Grin
n0ne · 26/06/2016 11:18

Atrocious. Joy is nice, and Jolanda (pron yolanda)

villainousbroodmare · 26/06/2016 22:37

Two names aggressively hammered together. Jocelyn and Joy both nice names. Lynn also fine. Joy Lynn is fine too.

purplefox · 27/06/2016 01:18

I love Joy, but hate Lynn and them stuck together is terrible.

Raines100 · 27/06/2016 06:19

Another here who read it as Jolyon first. Joy Lynn is fine- the space is necessary for readability!

UntilTheCowsComeHome · 27/06/2016 10:15

It's a Duggar's name so a no from me.

Joy is lovely.

Actually the Duggars have a Joy and a Johanna but no Joylynn. Wink

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 27/06/2016 10:21

Give it time...Wink

Scarydinosaurs · 27/06/2016 10:45

Jocelyn or Jolene as alternatives?

TwinklingStar123 · 27/06/2016 10:48

Nice seperate but I don't think the names go very well together

CarriMarie · 27/06/2016 10:53

How about Caitlin or Caitlyn Joy?

underrugsswept · 27/06/2016 10:54

Awful!
