Both very pretty but I prefer Beatrice. I know so many Matildas.

PotatoBread · 25/06/2016 13:21

I prefer Beatrice but don't really think that Niamh goes well with it so

Beatrice Margaret Anne

WreckingBallsInsideMyHead · 25/06/2016 19:34

I second Beatrice Margaret Anne

LeonoraFlorence · 25/06/2016 20:19

I prefer Beatrice :)

Crunchymum · 25/06/2016 22:52

I much prefer Matilda, hate the name Beatrice. Sorry.

23jumpstreet · 25/06/2016 23:02

Matilda is much nicer.

Northernlurker · 25/06/2016 23:16

I have a Beatrice. Lovely name and Bea is an excellent 'short'

fanniboz · 26/06/2016 11:33

I prefer Matilda too, I can't stomach Beatrice (sorry OP)

KoalaDownUnder · 26/06/2016 11:44

Much prefer Matilda.

GoldPlatedBacon · 26/06/2016 11:46

I think Beatrice Margaret Niamh flows better

1horatio · 26/06/2016 12:27

I like both names... Matilda is really pretty, I love it. Although I personally prefer Mafalda, tbh.

Anyhow, I do love the meaning of Beatrice and it sounds very nice with the middle names you chose... So, I think I like Beatrice N M better.

pilates · 26/06/2016 13:41

Beatrice Niamh Margaret (Williams)

bluebelle2662 · 26/06/2016 15:12

Matilda is a much nicer name

fluffyjumper123 · 29/06/2016 22:42

Thanks all. I wasn't sure whether the Niamh worked as a second name and thought Matilda might be too common Smile

LowAMH · 01/07/2016 01:09

Beatrice.

I love Niamh but I agree Beatrice Margaret Niamh flows a bit better that way around.

Nospringflower · 02/07/2016 01:33

Much prefer Matilda and don't know a single one. Much less keen on Beatrice although Bea is an alright nickname!

marblestatue · 02/07/2016 01:42

Beatrice Margaret Niamh

septembersunshine · 02/07/2016 08:11

Matilda is very pretty. Tilly and Tilda are sweet nicknames. I know one Matilda and one Beatrice.

I don't like Beatrice much, it sounds harsh.

Wintersummerwintersummer · 02/07/2016 14:06

Love Beatrice- had no idea it was so divisive. I much prefer the pronunciation Bee- ah-triss to Beat- ris though. There are a zillion million (yawn) Matildas around and Milly/Tilly etc are a bit sickly to my ear. I think Beatrice is far more classy and timeless xx

sykadelic · 04/07/2016 05:05

FWIW I too dislike the name Beatrice and had no idea it was so popular... I'd assume the person was 50+ if they had that for a name.

Love the name Matilda and think it's cute and sweet. Didn't think it was common at all.

Just5minswithDacre · 04/07/2016 05:15

I prefer Matilda.

But if you're going with Beatrice, I think Beatrice Margaret Niamh scans better and keeps the Beatrice and Niamh apart (they clash slightly, somehow).

Florrieboo · 04/07/2016 05:16

Beatrice for sure. There are so many Matilda's.

CruCru · 07/07/2016 18:05

I love Beatrice. Matilda is also lovely but really popular.
