Votes please - Eva, Bella, Emilia or Freya?

DH and I are really struggling to decide on a name for our DD due in a couple of week. Shortlist currently is...

Eva
Bella
Emilia
Freya
Sophia

Thoughts please? x

I know about 50 million freyas so although it is a lovely name, i'd say a definite no to that one. Ditto Sophia and Emilia (but not as much). I'd go for Eva or Bella. Eva's really classy and Bella's really feminine.

They're all very popular. I like Sophia best.

My favourite is Emilia.

I also like Eva. It's timeless & classic.

I'm an Emilia vote too!

I'm the opposite of Betty i have heard of a million Eva's and Bella's, but not many/any Freya's or Emilia's

Definitely not Eva, that was a relatives name and she was anything but classy.

I have an Emilia and a Freya. They are the only ones in their school as far as I know. We are in the north west.

Emilia, I looked after a gorgeous little girl called Emilia once and the name just makes me smile.

Sophia is my all time favourite girls' name. very popular but that wouldn't put me off. Like Freya next best, then Emilia and Eva equally.

I used to love Eva but now when I say it I can only here the word 'Either'. Just me I'm sure!

Emilia is lovely and you can have Milly as a nickname or Emmy - both really sweet. Sophia is very pretty and has a kind of grandness about it.

Not keen on Freya and Bella sounds like half a name. Like the nickname of Isabella or Gabriella (although that is just the Ella sound). I think Bella would make a lovely middle name though... but it is just that. Plus is it also an adults name? I think your other choices will carry a little girl though her life better. She might feel Bella is a bit cutesy one day.

Thanks everyone. Emilia seems to be the front runner - which my DH is very happy about (it was his favourite)!

Emilia has been my favourite future baby name for years! And now i'm pregnant my other half has decided he hates it :( Gutted.

Eva is lovely and my favourite by far . My least favourite is Bella.
