I like Freya, Libby and Kara.

RaeSkywalker · 21/06/2016 19:16

I like Freya, but I know a lot of them. I also like Mabel and Lucinda. There was a Blue Peter dog called Mabel though, which was the first thing I thought of!

Gracey79 · 21/06/2016 19:17

I like Freya best, Mabel just makes me think of a cow. Knew an acacia once it got shortened to kaysha which I wasn't at all keen on

livinglooney8 · 21/06/2016 19:42

Lucinda is my favourite by a long shot. Then Suzie but would do Susannah nn Susie.

TinklyLittleLaugh · 21/06/2016 19:46

Susannah is very in vogue around these parts, Susannah banana being the nickname of choice.

IoraRua · 21/06/2016 19:49

I like annaliese, Libby and Cara.
Mabel, Acacia and Tamsyn are ugly imo.
Wouldn't go for Suzie alone. I do like it with Susannah.
I'm indifferent to Freya, Macey and Lucinda.

hollyisalovelyname · 21/06/2016 19:51

Annaliese / Annalise and Freya would be my choices. I don't like the others.

bluebloom · 21/06/2016 19:57

I like Annaliese, Freya & Mabel. Freya is quite popular though. Lindsay is a total nightmare as you can spell it in about 300 different ways. Cara is a great name, spelling it with a K will mean a lifetime of being "Cara-with-a-k".

lordStrange · 21/06/2016 20:01

Annalise (this spelling) is lovely. Also love Mabel.

Owlytellsmesecrets · 21/06/2016 20:06

I like Mabel!!!!!

cecilelliott · 21/06/2016 20:11

I love Susie, short for Susanna! Cara/Kara is also a beautiful name.

LaBelleOtero · 21/06/2016 21:06

A couple are names I associate with Neighbours - Libby, Annaliese. Showing my age...

And similarly, Acacia makes me think of Bananaman. Eric lived on Acacia Avenue. I think it's a gorgeous name!

I like Macey, but Mabel is a bit too Cath-Kidston-pastel-bunting-mismatched-tea-cups for my liking.

Wordsaremything · 21/06/2016 21:08

All ghastly, sorry .

PotatoBread · 22/06/2016 20:58

I like Mabel, Freya (though v popular) and Lucy (don't like Lucinda)

I really don't like the rest especially Lyndsay, Annaliese, Macey or Acacia

Tamsin and Cara are OK but spelt this way rather than the way you've spelt them which just looks a bit odd and your DD would just spend her life correcting people re the spelling of her name

lastqueenofscotland · 22/06/2016 22:14

I love Freya. I was a nanny to a Freya and she was a gem.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 22/06/2016 23:26

Lindsey is surely due a revival

Allalonenow · 22/06/2016 23:40

The only ones I like are Freya and Lucinda, both are lovely.

Acacia is awful, have you not heard all the Acacia Avenue jokes? And it's a tree, like calling a beautiful daughter Mangrove or Scots-Pine.

CourtJester · 23/06/2016 10:59

Annaliese - Bit too frilly for my liking, but i like the Anna part.
Suzie - Don't like, too old fashioned. Susannah is slightly better, i prefer Savannah.
Freya - Nice, cute on a child, but could be suitable for a professional adult too.
Libby - Love, it's simple but cute. Could be the short for of Elizabeth, or just on it's own which i like.
Mabel - Reminds me of a cow.
Lindsay - Don't like, but i have known several not-nice people all called this.
Lucinda - Don't like, sounds too old fashioned, but i do like Lucy
Acacia - Awful. I think there is a type of beetle called this, or a type of beetle that lives on these trees.
Tamsyn - Only like when spelt Tamsin, i also like Tammy.
Macey - Not keen, but like Marnie.
Kara - Love, but prefer it spelt Cara. My favourite from your list.

handonhip · 23/06/2016 13:13

Annaliese for me.
