Matthew seems to be the least popular at the minute if that makes a difference.

Oscar is nice but very common at the moment and it might be one of those names that dates him to a particular decade. Marcus always makes me think of slightly wimpy boys for some reason, I don't know why.

Matthew is a lovely, classic name which works equally well for a small boy and for a grown man. It'll never date, and he'll never have any reason to be embarrassed about it. It's also not used very much at the moment.
