100% set on the name Eden, really struggling to think of middle names that flow nicely with it though. Any ideas?

Our DD is Eden Elizabeth Smile

butteredmuffin · 08/05/2016 14:31

Eden Apple! (sorry...)

I think Eden is a little bit "out there", so personally I would go for a slightly more traditional name as a middle name just in case she doesn't like it when she gets older. But I don't think it will go with anything too traditional.

Eden Rose sounds lovely.

Namelessbabe · 08/05/2016 14:37

Eden Rosa

Have you a favourite aunt or grandma you can share names with?

CodyKing · 08/05/2016 15:31

I know boys named Edan it's not that unusual!

UnmentionedElephantDildo · 08/05/2016 15:36

Eden is traditionally a boys name, so I'd expect something quite different (especially as ONS stats show it's given to more boys than girls in UK).

So do you want some thing that is so definitely a girls name that the child's sex is beyond doubt when people only have a piece of paper to go on? Or do you actually want masculine/unisex names throughout?

Or have previous posters jumped to the wrong conclusion and it is indeed a boy you are naming?

(the suggestion you liked Eden Rain doesn't really tell us which sex, which of course might be exactly the reason why you like it)

mojo40 · 08/05/2016 15:39

Eden is a beautiful name, so when I read this thread the name Brooke came to mind!...😜

WhyCantIuseTheNameIWant · 08/05/2016 15:42

There are 4 Edens under 4 around here.
3 girls, 1 boy.

So I went with girl...

ABitAsleep · 09/05/2016 16:23

It makes me think of Eden Hazard, the (male) footballer, although he pronounces it differently.

igglepiggleisanarsehole · 09/05/2016 20:49

Sorry ladies - forgot to mention its a girl. I've never met a boy named Eden - the more you know!
