Hi, I'm in need of some suggestions for boy names-please! I'm 28 weeks with twin boys and struggerling with names. We already have a Dylan. Here are ones I've got so far...

Tobias - Toby
Oliver - ollie
Jake
Rex
Benjamin, bengi
xavier

And then there's middle name to decide on?! Any ideas? X

Xavier and Toby.
Jake is okay not as over done as Jacob
Don't like the sound of Ollie, Plus very over used. It seems to me, That it's every other boys name.
I like Ben as a nn for Benjamin but not Benji
Unless you're expecting a litter of puppies.
Same with Rex

Sophronia · 25/04/2016 19:03

Oliver and Benjamin, Tobias and Oliver or Tobias and Benjamin

Bellasima20 · 25/04/2016 19:05

Rex and Toby (favourite)

Benjamin and Rex
Oliver and Rex

Rex MUST be used!! Ignore the dullard comments re. dogs/puppies, just not relevant in the 21st century.

manicinsomniac · 25/04/2016 19:08

Xavier and Tobias
or
Toby and Jake

On their own they're all good names but, together, Toby and Rex and Benji and Rex do sound like a pair of dogs.

ApocalypseSlough · 25/04/2016 19:55

Rex and Toby are rather tiresome brothers in the Archers.

A4Document · 25/04/2016 19:57

Oliver and Rex.

Pointeshoes · 25/04/2016 20:25

Thanks for the feedback! Still can't decide, anyone got any new suggestions? Got to say I'm 26 and never listened to the archers haha...

And you have Dylan already of course. Benjamin means last child, originally given to a 'surprise baby'
Dylan and Oliver?
What about Otto?

Pointeshoes · 25/04/2016 20:46

Otto reminds me of that crazy bus driver guy off the Simpsons. :D picking names is so stressful! I want something a bit different, just thinking of other kids names in school which I want to avoid, they're all quite standard names like Henry, thomas, Sebastian, Sam, Jack, Noah.

Sebastian and Rex

Rex and Laurence

capercaillie · 26/04/2016 13:31

Like many of those names. Toby and Oliver were on my list. Rory and Peter were also on that list and would go well.

MrsHathaway · 26/04/2016 14:01

Jake and Toby

A good balance of quirky and ordinary, like Dylan.

Pointeshoes · 26/04/2016 16:20

Thanks ladies :) Toby is my favourite at the moment. I'm currently in hospital having steroid injections after having a scan and got to stay in tonight for monitoring - not what I expected but got to wait and see, going to be a busy time of hospitals to come!

Oliver and Benjamin are my favourites.

Exciting!

Scattymere · 26/04/2016 16:32

Also like Oliver and Rex as well as Rex and Laurence.

gladisgood · 26/04/2016 16:52

Like your list - a lot were on mine if DD had been a DS!

I love Rex, Tobias and Benjamin. Oliver is nice, but there are a lot. I don't like Xavier as much. Jake is OK.

David
Matthew
James
Jeremy
Lloyd
Stirling
Aaron

Have a go with this brilliant ONS graphic thing to see how popular/otherwise names are.

Toby and Rex are definitely dog names, together (kind of fine separately) and I'd say the same about Max and Ben and Rover as well.

Rory, Elliott and Charlie are much further down the lists, and are all lovely names IMO.

WhyCantIuseTheNameIWant · 27/04/2016 10:01

Charlie max
Toby Edward
Adam Charles
Elliot jake
Max & Alex

SummerGreanland · 27/04/2016 12:48

what about Henry and Oliver

cecilelliott · 02/05/2016 22:59

Rex and Ben.
Toby is a nice enough name but it's super popular the moment if that bothers you.

Good Luck whatever you decide.

TutanKaDashian · 02/05/2016 23:06

Toby
Max
Jamie
