Helena. DC2 would have been Helena Maud if he hadn't been a DS.

Harriet! Love Hattie for short :) It's top of my list my it's my brother's girlfriend's name - gutted :(

Both are lovely but all the Helenas I've known have pronounced it Hel-ay-na.

Even the fact that you have to specify how it's pronounced would put me off. She would be forever called Eleanor by mistake.
