Is it just Ollie? We love the name but we like to be able to shorten and my husband isn't a huge fan of Ollie or Oll - just thought I'd check if there's a name I'd not thought of!

My Oliver is Lol - we called him Ol when he was little and Lol was his mispronunciation of that.

I've hear Lee as short for Ollie.

I've only ever heard Ollie.

We have one (an Oliver, that is).

Ollie/Olly, Olz, Lol, Nol, The Oll, Olzwolz, Olliewollidooda (he loves that one Grin ) are nn's that we, his cruel parents, have used.

I'm not intending that you should take the last two or three seriously.

Just choose a name you like in short or long version, would be my advice

Oliver is a nice name, but it's very very popular.

We have an Oliver too. He's 2. We call him loads of different things but his favourite names are beans and polly. helpful

Noll was a medieval nn for Oliver

My DS is Oliver and has only just, at the age of 18, decided that he will accept the nn Olly. He has introduced himself to people using his full name up until now.
In our family home I call him Oli, OB (surname starts with B), Obi Wan, Olivia, Livvi, Liv, Obes.
DH only calls him Oliver or Obi Wan.
At school teachers insist on calling him Ollie, even writing that in reports, which he hated.
I think his sisters all call him Oliver, his brother definitely does.
I'm possibly the only person that doesn't use his full name!
