The dds have declared dc3 name must match there's which both end in 'die'. I love Bridie but I can't think of any boys names!
Any ideas!

Never heard Geordie as a name but really, really like it. Love Brodie too. Choose one of them

Narp · 16/04/2016 19:37

Are you sure about this?

The only ones I can think of are

Freddie
Brodie

neither of which are as nice as Elodie

Why do what you children want for the sake of a rhyme?

Geordie was my Grandads name, it was very popular in that generation, but I think it was a regional thing.

Thanks all I love Jodie for a boy too.
They don't have to rhyme I was looking for ideas on dd1 suggestion. She insisted on dd2 name

I knew a Jodie at school and I'm afraid he had a bit of a time with being teased for having a 'girl's' name. I like it too but didn't use it because of that. Cody is nice though I think.

Oysterbabe · 17/04/2016 10:13

I think a lot of ie endings for boys names look strange and feminine. Go for something like Charlie where the ie is more natural (but if I saw it written down I still might wonder if the child was really a Charlotte)

crapfatbanana · 17/04/2016 17:49

Codie
Freddie
Sandie
Teddie
Lindie

Ive been creative with these, except Freddie.

JSarah · 17/04/2016 17:53

Brodie is definitely the best

Bajanella · 17/04/2016 21:58

There's a black-and-white film about a strongman called Geordie.
