Initials

Trying to work out baby names.

Our preferred girl's name and middle name, with our surname, would give the initials BAE which I'm a bit Hmm about. Not only the slang for 'babe' but I learnt today it is Danish for poop. Not exactly a problem as I'm not in Denmark but still...

Am I overthinking or should I find another middle name?

Not an issue unless you want to monogram her babygrows Wink

If you aren't set on the middle name I'd change or or it'll play on your mind.

BAE is slang initials for "before anyone/anything else.

Wouldn't put me off!

To me BAE is BAE Systems (British Aerospace). But then again I'm not down with the ghetto, or Danish..

mrs I did also think that. I am also neither down with the kids nor Danish!

You're overthinking!

These initials appear on computers and SD has hers in her PE kit etc -

Worth thinking about - add another name?

Sdad had PAT as his initials at work Grin

You're massively overthinking this! Those initials are completely fine. If you have no connections to Denmark and will never live there, why would that matter? I'm obviously not down with the cool kids but I have never heard Bae used instead of Babe...

It really doesn't matter. I wouldn't even consider it an issue.
