Struggling for second boy's name - help!

Ipanema01 · 05/04/2016 14:57

I have a little boy called Rafe which I love. I've just found out I'm having another boy but struggling to find something I love just as much.
Here is my list:

Rudy - may be too much to have another R, I wouldn't continue with a third...
Otis
Arlo - is this getting really popular now?
Arthur
Wilfred
Winston

Thanks

Rafe is lovely :)

I'm not a fan of Rudy, though I don't think two R's would be too much

Otis reminds me of the brand of lifts or a dog name, sorry

Arlo is becoming more heard of but ice never met one, I don't imagine it'll ever be a popular popular name

Arthur however is popping up everywhere so if popularity is a concern you may want to avoid. I really like Arthhur tough

MamaLazarou · 05/04/2016 15:02

I think Rudy and Rafe are cute together.

Sophronia · 05/04/2016 16:29

I like Rudy

Voteforpedr0 · 05/04/2016 16:37

Rudy and rafe sound like a pair of rescue dogs to me. Otis is cool though, goes with Rafe much better too

sonlypuppyfat · 05/04/2016 16:39

Arthur, Wilfred and Winston are dreadful I'm sorry.

Ipanema01 · 05/04/2016 16:52

Rafe the dog - hmmm :)

Thanks for the opinions - keep them coming!

I like Arthur

How about
Louis
Benedict
Nathaniel- Nate
Theo
Caspar
Hugo
Heath
Sebastian
Alec

GingerLeaves · 05/04/2016 18:25

I don't really like any, sorry Sad Arthur is the best though

Narp · 05/04/2016 19:50

I think from your list Arlo is the best

Can I suggest:

Asa
Evan
Levi
Jack

Narp · 05/04/2016 19:50

Also,

Ezra

Narp · 05/04/2016 19:51

Oops, I like Arthur too.

Actually I like that best

Ipanema01 · 06/04/2016 09:14

Thanks for the suggestions, I don't really like any of them Blush. Boys are so tricky and I feel like I've heard every name in existence. I want something cool and not heard of too often, but nothing silly. Girls are so much easier!

Wilf or Winston probably goes best from your list or how about:

Sylvester
Miles
Piers
Guy
Giles
Duncan
Edwin
Edgar

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 06/04/2016 09:22

Otto
Luca

I think Rafe and Rudy too much. Not awful, but not ideal.

I think I'm swinging most towards Arlo atm, but how popular is it? I hear it quite a bit on these boards though don't know any IRL.

My little boy is called Wilfred after my grandad. It took some people a while to get used to but most people loved it and we certainly love having a little boy with a different name. People certainly remember him! We call him Wilf but as he gets older it could be Will or Freddie.

Fluzzieinajacuzzi · 06/04/2016 14:27

I may be on my own here but I don't understand this pairing of names, when I named my children it never occurred to me to see if it suited the siblings name.
Maybe just me.
Annnyway, Rafe is lovely and I agree boys are hard, you need to imagine the man with the name and not just the boy. I like your choices (other than Rudy, sorry).

Ok, what about:
Gethin
Eli
Moses
Josè
