Hi All

I am looking for some help!!! I have 8 weeks to go and we cannot decide on a boys name. I think we will be ok if we have a girl. My dd is called Harper and the potential boys names we have so far are:

Flynn
Casper
Avery
Knox
Brody
Bodhi

Any other suggestions or comments welcome Smile

I like caspar.

ineedamoreadultieradult · 30/03/2016 15:13

I like Flynn but prefer Fynn
I like Casper but prefer it spelt Kasper
Don't like Avery at all.
Knox sounds like a girls name to me.
I like Brody and Bodhi and think they go well with Harper.
Other options which I think fit with your style could be Cassius, Sonny, Maximus or Zeke

Sophronia · 30/03/2016 18:34

Avery

I like Caspar (with a rather than e), Bodhi, and the suggestions of Cassius and Maximus.

Knox = Amanda Knox to me. I can't get past that association.
I like Bodhi, Brody and Casper.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 30/03/2016 18:45

I Only like Casper.
Other suggestions.
Elliot
Rory
Otto
Enzo

I'm not sure if you're asking for opinions on your current list - if so:

Flynn - nice, but I prefer Finn...
Casper - not keen
Avery - it's a girls' name, but that's only IMO (I know it's unisex)
Knox - I went to school with a boy whose last name is Knox, so I don't see it as a first name...
Brody - I like this, but spelt the original way (Brodie)
Bodhi - not keen

My favourite is Flynn...

I'm suggesting Ainsley Smile

SoThatHappened · 30/03/2016 22:05

I like Brody.

Or how about Byron?

Harper and Byron....both authors.

Vixxfacee · 30/03/2016 22:06

I like Casper

pieceofpurplesky · 30/03/2016 22:11

How about Caspen not Casper? Goes better with Harper.
Harper and Casper not good
Harper and Caspen sounds fab

AugustaFinkNottle · 31/03/2016 08:51

Flynn and Caspar are the only bearable ones out of that list.

joyfulworld · 31/03/2016 10:17

I love Avery.

BoboBunnyH0p · 31/03/2016 14:38

I like Avery. Can I suggest Chase, Perry and Addison.

FarrowandBallAche · 31/03/2016 14:46

Isn't it spelt Caspar?

MamaLazarou · 31/03/2016 16:38

Bodhi is way too faddy. It will date very badly.

How about Axel or Tate?

ugottabekidding · 31/03/2016 16:41

What about Jagger?

BendydickCuminsnatch · 31/03/2016 16:45

Flynn - to me it sounds a bit wet
Casper - love it
Avery - a girl's name in my mind, as it's my nanna's name. I know most people think of it as a boy's name though.
Knox - sounds a bit menacing
Brody - like
Bodhi - not my taste

Love your DD's name!!

BushDiggle · 31/03/2016 16:45

Thanks for the suggestions, yh not sure I'm keen on Bodhi either now!!!

Boys names are DIFFICULT!!!!

I hear ya, I hated trying to find DS' name!!! Girls names are abundant!

mrsschu · 31/03/2016 21:15

I like Caspar (this spelling), the others on your list are dreadful IMO.

Ikeameatballs · 31/03/2016 21:40

Flynn, Brodie or Knox go best with Harper imo though I only really like Brodie.

badg3r · 31/03/2016 22:15

Harper and Casper don't go well. I really dislike Avery. It reminds me of aviary. Chase as pp suggested would be nice I think.
