Name suggestions for Sister to Emilio

What is a good name for a girl, sister to Emilio? Spanish names preferred as DH is Spanish, but other international names also good

We thought of following:

  • Cordelia (DH hates it though, as in Spanish gordo means fat)
  • Odilia which I love but DH hates, as he says it sounds made up to him
  • Anabel, which is OK, but maybe too common?

Love names that are "unique" but not out there...

Thank you for any suggestions!

Luisa was on our list, but I am thinking is it too common?
Adelina sounds lovely like the unusual names I like and DH vetoes

Guess our problem is that I like unusual & DH not, but hope we will find a common ground

I had the same problem with Dp with our Ds.
I loved a name all the way through but still once he was born Dp still hated itSad

I've only seen it mentioned occasionally on here & think it would've suited Ds,most of my family thought it was awful as well tbh.Blush

Know what you mean MissBeaHaving, usually what happens in my case too!

Penélope is lovely too, thank you for all names and open to hear more.
So far our list is:

Penélope
Luisa / Anabel (though not sure, as they are common)

And maybe Alba? Another one we thought, but DH says it is very common in Spain and also not that feminine

I like Annabelle

Anabel is lovely Smile

Penelope is nice too. The first Spanish Penelope I thought of was Penelope Cruz.
