So I have a long list of girls names but only one boys name, that being Ezra.

I love it, DP isn't so sure. He likes Rowan.

I don't really want to go down the Tom, Harry, Jack or Oliver route as know a fair few...

Ezra is great or how about Quentin, Marcus or Caspar?

CloudOfStarlings · 15/03/2016 18:36

Yes yes to Ira , love it and would have used it but doesn't go with our surname.. Know a 5 year old Ira who is lovely !!
Also looove Ralph but dh vetoed it..

Fwiw my boys are Jude and Sebastian and though they're top 100, they always get complimented as being unusual! Ds3 would have been Elliot but we had a girl Wink

I love Oscar, Gabriel and Joshua.
Heard two babies called "Cohen" this week and also think surname names are becoming popular.
We have a Harrison, Cullen, Bailey in dd's class.
I have an Oliver :) tho he is 13 and was quite unusual in 2003.

Imnotacelebgetmeouttahere · 19/03/2016 07:22

Love Ezra!

I have a Cohen and it's gaining popularity although he is the only one we / and extended friends know at the moment

MissRabbitHasTooManyJobs · 19/03/2016 07:27

My favourite name when pg with ds was Caleb, I still love it now and had it for number 2 who turned out pink!
Have never met a Caleb...
( exdp didn't like it ) looking back he didn't like me much either Grin

mateysmum · 19/03/2016 07:32

You could be really outrageous and use something like:

David
Paul
Andrew
Ian
John
Richard
Philip
Simon
Christopher

These names are all out of fashion I know, so that makes them unusual and nowt wrong with 'em. In my day calling a child Ezra/Rowan/Caleb would have been seen as a form of child cruelty!! but that was when dinosours roamed

KolaKoola · 19/03/2016 07:34

To me they are Dad names and I just cannot shake the connection no matter how much I try!
