Already have a lovely, lovely Lily, and love the name Lyra. But... two four-letter L names - too much?
Any other suggestions welcome!

Possibly a bit much - & and if you went on to have a third, would you keep or break the pattern?

Suggestions - Ruby, Ebony, Rosemary, all have a "natural" theme.

I think they're fine together. And I'm normally the one who says "no"!

But

Clara
Chloe
Rosa

Too similar for me.

mrsschu · 14/03/2016 22:00

They're too similar. How about Rosanna?

WelliesTheyAreWonderful · 14/03/2016 22:08

Borderline too similar, but hey, if you love it go for it. How about Kyra, Cara, Cora, Maya?

Lyra sounds like too many other words especially as it's not a name that's particularly known. Lilo, Lycra, Myra etc

DramaAlpaca · 14/03/2016 22:11

I don't mind them together actually.

I really love Lyra.

I would say thats fine, other than the first letter and number of letters they are quite different (eg, its not like Lily and Lila).

However, as AuntJane said, if you had another child would you feel like you had to keep the theme?

RockUnit · 15/03/2016 09:27

Too similar IMO, sorry.
