I know a grown up Hamish and he is just called Hamish. Others I've met have been the same. Occasionally my friend is called Hambo or Hammy lovingly but no nickname as such.

Live in the Highlands of Scotland and know a few Hamishes, of varying ages. None of them have a nickname, they're all just Hamish. Why would you want one anyway? It's s lovely name!

I know one who is Mishy.

I know of who is hammy.

None of the Hamishes I know have a nickname at all. You could probably use Hammy but I'm not sure why you'd want to.

You could use Mitch, at a push?

I know a few Hamishes - they are just Hamish.

Many years ago when God was a boy I had a boy in my class at school called Hamish McTavish Grin

Fabulous name!
