Elise is a very pretty name.

DramaAlpaca · 26/02/2016 20:57

Both go well, I think.

Amelie & Ava is alliterative.

Amelie & Elise has a French feel.

thebiscuitindustry · 26/02/2016 21:08

Ava

Ringadingdingdong22 · 26/02/2016 21:09

Elise is nice, don't come across it that often where as Ava has been quite popular IMO.

mrsmeerkat · 26/02/2016 21:23

I love Ava but I think Elise is even nicer

DiamondStuddedFlunkie · 26/02/2016 21:25

Elise definitely. Much prettier and more unusual.

janethegirl2 · 26/02/2016 21:33

I'm sorry I think of Lotus Elise, a sports car

marmitecrumpets · 26/02/2016 21:50

Elise

WhyCantIuseTheNameIWant · 26/02/2016 22:16

Ava is popular, granny-name

Elise is a sporty little lotus.

Elise.

Sophronia · 26/02/2016 22:22

Elise

MWestie · 27/02/2016 00:36

How about Elisa?

Mclaren37 · 27/02/2016 01:46

Elise! Classic French name that goes perfectly with Amelie. Ava is nice but everywhere. I love Elisa too (pronounced like Melissa without the M).

KatOnATinRo0f · 27/02/2016 02:12

Elise or Elisa. Ava is lovely but v popular

KoalaDownUnder · 27/02/2016 07:01

Elise.

Ava is way overused.

CPtart · 27/02/2016 07:17

Elise.
Far too many Ava's, Eva's, Ella's......

merseyside · 27/02/2016 07:35

You can pronounce Elise Eleeze or Eleez-uh

I'd go with Eleez-uh and Amelie.

Lovely

guiltynetter · 27/02/2016 07:39

I love Elisa too (pronounced like Melissa but without the M).

actually that's Elissa. the pronunciation of Elisa is E-Lisa. like Lisa with an E on the front.

Op both names are gorgeous.

crapfatbanana · 27/02/2016 07:41

Elise. Ava isn't nearly as good.

seven201 · 27/02/2016 07:47

Are you French?

I personally wouldn't want children with the same initial but if you don't mind then it doesn't matter. Both lovely names with Ava being a bit more popular.

mrsschu · 27/02/2016 08:12

Both are lovely. Would probably go for Elise to avoid the alliteration but I really like both. Elise sounds very classic and is good for any age. I know there are meant to be tonnes of Ava's out there but I've only met one and I'm in London! In spite of its current popularity I also think Ava is a classic name. Love Amelie also btw Smile.
