Thoughts on these please: Flora v Florence, Martha v Matilda plus Theodore, Felix and Oscar

I'm due in 3 weeks, unknown sex. His three children are Henrietta, Humphrey and Hugo. My three are Emily, Jack and Heidi. This is our first together.

We have agreed (for now!), for a girl, on either Flora or Florence with either Martha or Matilda as a middle name. So Flora Martha, Flora Matilda, Florence Martha or Florence Matilda.

For a boy, Theodore who would go by Theo. Middle name either Felix or Oscar. So Theodore Felix or Thedore Oscar.

This is all subject to change!

I like Florence, Theodore and Felix, but not Flora, Matilda, Martha or Oscar.

Florence (something else) would be my choice but I have no preference between Martha and Matilda as middle name.

Theodore Felix would be a fantastic name.

Lovely names. Can't go wrong with any combination IMO.

Florence and Martha both have a nice gentle sound, I think Matilda is spikier!

I love flora but didn't work with our surname!! Definitely Matilda over Martha, and felix is fab, again I loved it, but not with our surname! Great names

The only combo that I think does NOT work is Flora Martha. I can't pinpoint why - it just doesn't sound right. Something to do with the rhythm?

I prefer Florence to Flora and think it works better with the siblings' names. Also, if you go with Florence you can always call her Floral for short if you want.

And I prefer Matilda to Martha (which I think has less character). So, my favourite of the girl combos is Florence Matilda. I think this has the best rhythm of all the girl combos.

I like both Oscar and Felix and think they both go well with Theodore (not helpful, sorry).
