It's a lovely name. Personally I prefer the Sophia spelling but it's nice either way.

I have an almost eleven year old one, she occasionally gets Fia. She still has the odd person who continually spells it wrong even after it's been pointed out to them, but she is old enough to sort it out herself now Grin. It's a lovely name but I'm really really biased Grin.

I love Sophia - really pretty. Sofia makes me think of the capital of Bulgaria!

joyfulworld · 23/02/2016 12:02

Hello.

Sophia is lovelier for me.

PitilessYank · 23/02/2016 12:15

It's a gorgeous name, and I prefer Sofia.

I have a Sophia (spelt that way as Sofia will always be a city to me, not a lovely girl!). I love it, think it's one of the prettiest names out there. It's rising in popularity I think (I'm in Ireland). She gets called Soph the odd time but rarely.

RortyCrankle · 23/02/2016 15:19

Lovely name but prefer Sophia

DontKillMyVibe · 25/02/2016 12:46

Much prefer it spelt Sophia. Sofia just reminds me of Bulgaria or soft furnishings

Luciferbox · 25/02/2016 12:49

Sofia is lovely, it was a contender for my DCs but I only had DSs.

MsMims · 25/02/2016 12:52

Lovely name and I prefer the Sofia spelling.

Jw35 · 25/02/2016 15:00

I also prefer the Sofia spelling. Go for it!

ScarlettDarling · 25/02/2016 15:01

Sofia just too much like sofa...go for Sophia!

julfin · 26/02/2016 01:07

Beautiful name, and on our list too. I prefer the PH spelling, but the F is perfectly valid. As long as you don't mind correcting people all the time.

BlanketsAndBiscuits · 26/02/2016 01:12

I have a Sophia nn Fifi. it's a beautiful name I may be slightly biased

KatieT12 · 26/02/2016 10:05

I love it, but prefer Sophia

MitzyLeFrouf · 26/02/2016 10:29

I don't like it. I can only hear it said in a Noo Joisey accent.
