Beautiful. Both names have been increasing in popularity from obscurity but so what? My DS's name's done the same and I still love it.

buckingfrolicks · 20/02/2016 23:54

nope. having Ivy first will always make the second name sound wrong -
I've Alice

So I'd go Alice Ivy.

Ivy is a lovely name though! Really lovely now I come to think about it!

Proudmumof2boys · 20/02/2016 23:55

Ivy Alice sounds fab x

buckingfrolicks · 20/02/2016 23:55

Now I'm in love with Alice Ivy - sounds like a film star or rock star... i need a granddaughter obviously

gunting · 20/02/2016 23:57

Thank you Smile

I do like Alice Ivy too actually. Alice is a family name so will definitely keep that one.

I'm not too bothered about a name that 'goes with' ds name (Joel) but either would work fine.

thebiscuitindustry · 21/02/2016 00:59

Ivy Alice would be a lovely name.

NadiaWadia · 21/02/2016 02:54

Alice is lovely. And Alice Ivy flows better than the other way round, IMO.

KoalaDownUnder · 21/02/2016 02:59

I bloody love Ivy. It's been my favourite girls' name for years.

Ivy Alice is stunning.

TrappedInAWitchesCurse · 21/02/2016 03:35

Lovely names. I think Alice Ivy flows better too.

MyNewBearTotoro · 21/02/2016 04:32

Both beautiful names but agree Alice Ivy sounds better.

LazyDaysAndTuesdays · 21/02/2016 04:35

I like it

mrsschu · 21/02/2016 10:31

I like both names and think the go fine together. She'll very rarely use her middle name so if you prefer Ivy then go with that.

Treadlightly · 21/02/2016 10:34

Love both names!
I have an Ivy Grin

KatieT12 · 21/02/2016 13:39

I don't think Ivy Alice is actually very nice, I like both the names, but not together! Ivy is nicer than Alice, IMO
