We have our 20 week scan on Wednesday. I'm pretty sure after 3ds we will be having a ds4.

So far we have E_an (v)
C_ayton (l)
T_ddy (e)

We like the names
Albie
Rafferty
Zachary

Which do you think goes best with the names we already have. My DH would like baby to have his name as a middle name this time which is Stephen.

That didn't post quite right but I'm sure you can make out the other names

Zachary Stephen is nice

manicinsomniac · 20/02/2016 11:36

I like all of them but think Zachary goes best with the other names. Albie and Rafferty have a fancier vibe about them that doesn't quite match.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 20/02/2016 11:42

Zachary Stephen

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 20/02/2016 11:47

Thank you. Our favourite was Rafferty but we can't decide. We've used all our favourite boys names now.

Zachary

Zachary

JudgeJudySheindlin · 20/02/2016 23:49

Rafferty would be my choice too although the other names fit with Stephen better.

Congrats on the new babySmile

Cookiesandcoffee · 23/02/2016 22:49

Waves to beautician - I like Zachary! A lot! I think it fits well too. My really good friend has just called her baby it and I like it a lot more than I thought!

Are there any more options on the list? (Partly on a selfish note!)

It still could be a pink one! Wink

Gummibearchen · 24/02/2016 14:35

You have a 50% chance of either gender, regardless of what you've had before. What girls names do you like?

Of your suggestions I like Rafferty!

julfin · 26/02/2016 01:57

Hello Beautician and Cookies!

I love Zachary and Rafferty. Unfortunately for me, Zachary semi-rhymes with DH's surname, and DH isn't so keen on Rafferty. Otherwise I'd fight you for them!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 28/02/2016 16:59

I'm back again we really can't decide.

Baby is definitely a boy. So now back to the drawing board with names.

Our favourites are still Rafferty and Albie. I'm just worried Rafferty doesn't quite fit with the others.

We also really like Bowie. Probably DH more than me. I would worry about pronunciation. How would you pronounce it:

Bow as in take a bow
Bow as in bow tie

I have always pronounced it the first way. DH likes the fact he can also be Bo for short.

whatdoIget · 28/02/2016 17:05

Bowie? Really?

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 28/02/2016 18:04

Haha I do like different names. But that's my exact worry that it's too different Smile

I like rafferty. I think it goes fine.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 29/02/2016 12:01

Bump

joyfulworld · 02/03/2016 12:32

I love Zachary

Artandco · 02/03/2016 12:36

Albie. Could use Albin or Alvin also.

How about Ralph?

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 02/03/2016 13:32

Hmm I quite like Ralph. We watched Holby last night and there is a character called Raff in it which we thought sounded good. In his case it's short for Raphael but we would stick with Rafferty.

Just cannot decide. Made worse by MIL commenting the other day "my goodness I dread to think what you will call this one" Sad

"Rafferty Magician" has a certain ring to it! Seriously though, Rafferty/Raff is a lovely name. Go for it. And ignore MIL...

StDogolphin · 03/03/2016 14:53

Rafferty or Rafael!

Bellasima20 · 03/03/2016 15:23

Rafferty is lovely and goes perfectly with your other boys names OP. Congrats!

Bellasima20 · 03/03/2016 15:24

Also love Rafael.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 03/03/2016 15:43

Julfin hahaha you make me laugh

Bellasima Yes I think we are set on Rafferty now. I think it goes well with them especially his younger brothers name.
