Hi there,

The title says it all really. We have finally whittled it down to our final two and would love to gauge opinion on them.

Thanks in advance x

I really like Natasha.

HerbieRidesAgain · 19/02/2016 20:56

Oooooh I like Talitha nn Tali

RomiiRoo · 19/02/2016 21:00

Natasha; though I think Talitha is more unusual

marmitecrumpets · 19/02/2016 21:05

Talitha

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 19/02/2016 21:27

Natasha. I like Talia, not Talitha.

ladybird69 · 19/02/2016 21:34

I love the Russian form of Natalie, which is Natalia. NN Talia or Tallie. french version is Natasha. I have a Tallie it suited her as a baby, toddler and now as a young woman Smile beautiful names whichever you choose.

Sophronia · 19/02/2016 21:55

Talitha, definitely

manicinsomniac · 20/02/2016 00:25

I love Natasha.

Talitha is unusual and pretty though.

thebiscuitindustry · 20/02/2016 00:25

Natasha

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 20/02/2016 00:28

I'd just worry that Talitha sounds a bit like Talisa said with a lisp. Having said that, I think it's very pretty.

ZenNudist · 20/02/2016 00:29

Not Thalia bad name. Sounds made up.

Natasha ok

Natalia nice.

CityFox · 20/02/2016 07:44

Talitha definitely, very cool, reminds me of Talitha Getty.

Sofiria · 20/02/2016 11:42

I really like Talitha. Natasha is nice too, but Talitha's that bit more unusual.

Doingmyheadin2016 · 20/02/2016 11:44

Never heard of Talitha only Tabitha which I quite like.

thebiscuitindustry · 20/02/2016 14:22

How do you pronounce Talitha? Is it TAL-ith-a or Tal-ITH-a?

Homerun23 · 20/02/2016 19:38

TAL-i-tha - basically like Tabitha but with an L! It means little girl and is an ancient name from the bible. In Arabic I think it also means "third" and it is our third baby!

Thanks everyone who has commented so far x

Love Talitha! I read a terrible book with a Talitha in it once and she was described as a great beauty so that's an association for me now - Talitha = beautiful!

Monica101 · 20/02/2016 19:56

I like Talitha now I know how to say it. I would have said Ta-lee-tha which I didn't like.

I would expect to have to correct pronunciation quite a bit but I wouldn't let that put you off.

ddeemummy · 20/02/2016 20:29

Natasha - under used name in my opinion Smile

SquadGoals · 20/02/2016 20:38

Love Talitha.

I know a couple - one who is Brazilian and pronounces it Tal ee tuh and the other Tal ee thuh. Both with emphasis on the ee sound.

JudgeJudySheindlin · 20/02/2016 23:34

Talitha. It's unusual & suits a baby or adult.

I Prefer Talia over both of them, but Natasha, is lovely and underused these days. I'm not keen on Talitha, it just looks a bit made up.

Natsku · 11/05/2016 16:29

Totally biased towards Natasha as its my name but its the best name Grin

Homerun23 · 11/05/2016 16:58

Mrs9C - I'm still pregnant (due on Friday!!). I think we are agreed on Talitha though, my husband really likes the meaning/story behind the name and I love the nn Tali.

How old is your Talitha? I'm interested to know general feedback on the name from people - you mention people request an explanation, is this just because it's an unusual name?

Thanks in advance!
