A brother for Ernest

34 + 4 and back to the drawing board again! We're looking for something that will work well with Ernest/Ernie - not sure we want a name in the same old-fashioned vein but still an unusual classic. I'd quite like something classless and timeless but not too boring. We can't agree on anything!

Yes we have thought of Bert and Eric Smile

Any ideas?

What about another polar explorer? :)

Wilfred was pretty high up on our list for a second boy when we had DS, but a good friend has since had a Wilf and it just doesn't feel like it could be our boy now! DH would love Algernon but not keen on Al for short.

I am coming round to Victor actually, DH quite keen! Would just need to get over the fact that it's next door's cat :)

I like Eric, Thomas,

I love Angus but DH won't let me have it as we've no Scottish connection!

Magnus and Florian probably a little way out for our corner of the North :) I do love Magnus though.

Owllady off to Wikipedia (you never know)...

Bernie was also suggested Abbinob! Can you imagine the chaos of rhyming siblings when shouting up the stairs? On that note I really love Herbert/Herbie, but worried it's too similar to Ernie, esp when the H is inevitably dropped...

Eric is such a great name - not sure we can do it though!
