Baby due imminently

Boys....we can't use but like (either used already, family close friends have used) Henry, George, James, William, Thomas

So our only options at present that we like are
Edward
Alexander

Was previously convinced by Edward but now I'm not so sure....partly as not sure on the nns - husband HATES Teddy (although I think quite cute) and I'm not so sure on Ed/Eddie but am aware it would be shortened to one of these....so any opinions/suggestions! As you can tell - we like traditional!

Love Alexander but DH vetoed. Also love Edward but hate Ed/die and Ted/dy. Think if I had another DS he would be Edward nn (Baby) Bear.

Love Francesca, Evangeline, Alexandra, Felicity, Amelie or Evelyn for a girl. I went to school with tons of the others, so they've lost their mystery.

I like all your girls names except felicity and I love the name Alexander, it's going to be my baby's name of a boy.

Eleanor (but not Ellie) and Edward. I'm with your husband, I can't stand the nickname Teddy.

Not keen on Emma but like all the others. I would probably avoid Evelyn, Evangeline and Eleanor as I'm not keen on Evie and Ellie and they seem inevitable.

I love both Alexander and Edward (Alexander is my favourite though). All the Edwards I know who have used a nn have been Ed or Eddie rather that Teddy

And Edward for a boy. Other nns could be Ned/Ted or Bear. Or just use Edward - it's not exactly a long name, doesn't really need a nn.

I have an Edward, nn Teddy but tbh apart from me and dh most people use his full name

Evangeline is just gorgeous and Edward (I have one, nn Ted)
