I think your keyboard was on to something there. Evangeline is a very Christian name, popular in fairly fundamental Christian proselytising circles.

It isn't slightly different, it's just Emmeline, wilfully misspelled.

Really love Emmeline as a name, but only spelled properly.

Emmeline is beautiful. I don't like the way you have spelt it.
