Halle/Hallie or Savannah

After my first thread we knocked Lennox off the table and have only agreed on these two names out of hundreds.
So opinions on either would be great! And also maybe middle name suggestions for either? Surname is short and quite simple, begins with S, along the lines of smith.

Ooh I like Hallie (I have a DD nn Callie so biased [wink ] ). Prefer Hallie to Savannah, and prefer the "ie" spelling personally.

To me Savannah is an exotic dancer's name.

Ok it looks like savannah is off the table too! I love Hallie though and so does DH. We have a DS called Logan and I think it goes quite nicely with that

I have a Savannah and, although my tastes changed quite a lot with later daughters, I still love it. She is/wants to be a dancer but hopefully won't go down the exotic route

Well after reading all these comments I was 100% happy with Halle/Hallie (still a bit undecided on sp), turns our DH had no recollection of saying he loved it so now he's not sure this is impossible!
He has now suggested Skylar which I thought was ok but have decided I really don't like it at all so that's not an option. I'm so stuck!

Have you considered Suzannah? Can be Zanna for short if you don't like Suzie.

Or Rosanna?

My Savannah is sometimes Vanna for short.

Think I'm the only one who prefers the Halle spelling! Really don't like anything that ends in ie though! Too twee!

Savannah is a circa 2000 name. And I didn't really like it then. Halle or Hallie would be fine. Please avoid Skylar, it will date horribly.

We have agreed on Hallie Ava
I've always loved Ava but know too many babies with the name but we thought it would be nice as a middle name.
Please tell me this is not a horrible combination! And I kind of preferred original spelling but it just doesn't look right with Ava to me...
