Sister for Franklin

Suggestions needed! I'm 34 weeks and although I have some names I love, we're struggling to find one we both agree on. I like Cecilia, dh likes Margot. Our current front runner is Sylvie as it's the only one we agree on, but I don't love it.

We had a similar problem with Franklin, none of the names on our shortlist made the cut and we went back to the start, eventually named him at four days old. It's not a name I would have ever thought we'd go for. I just want something I really like this time - suggestions please!!!

The first name that leaps to my mind is Sidney. Franklin and Sidney are my DCs middle names and I think they go lovely together as sibling names, even sounds similar to Sylvie

I love Sylvie! And Cecilia.

You sounds as though you'd like something unusual and "vintage"?

What about:

Cordelia (Cordy)
Clarissa
Sybil or Edith (inspired by Downton Abbey!)
Hilary

Good Luck!

Thanks everyone, damn this is hard! I love Violet but it's too popular for dh, he had Cordelia on his list but I'm not sure. Astrid and Greta are very nice.

Surely Aretha is the only possible choice? Wink

Tempting, evilgiraffe!

I liked Lucille too, but we've watched way too much arrested development for dh to move past that, disappointingly.
