I feel like Delilah might win? Grin Maisy has won in real life. Brother is Jonah :)

I like Maisie.

But I do like the song 'hey there Delilah'...

Stephieee · 29/01/2016 23:07

Not keen on the Maisie spelling! I don't like the double i :)

Maisie is common.
Delilah has unfortunate connotations.

I love Delilah.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 29/01/2016 23:11

Don't like either but if I had to choose
It would be Maisie

Stephieee · 29/01/2016 23:12

It wouldn't be Maisie :)

What's the difference phonetically between Maisie and Maisy?

Is Maisy pronounced Macey?

MissAlabamaWhitman · 29/01/2016 23:16

Jonah is such a lovely name OP.
How about Magdalene/ Magda/ Magdalena.

Stephieee · 29/01/2016 23:17

Nothing is different, I just don't like the double i :) MissAlabama - not really in love with those names, but thank you!

If you want it pronounced May-See as apose to May-Zee then you're best off spelling it Macy, Maycie Maicee, as Maisy will be taken for May-Zee

Stephieee · 29/01/2016 23:21

No, I want it said as May-zee :)

justjodie92 · 29/01/2016 23:23

Definitely Delilah!

MissAlabamaWhitman · 29/01/2016 23:23

Ok
If it's a toss up between the two I think that Delilah chimes better with your sons name, which as I said is gorgeous.

I can't warm to any variant of Maisy I'm afraid.
Believe me I've tried as a variant is my DNs name Blush

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 29/01/2016 23:25

Maisy will be pronounced May-Zee

Stephieee · 29/01/2016 23:26

That's how I want it said?

Delilah

tinofbiscuits · 29/01/2016 23:42

Maisy

Purplerain067 · 29/01/2016 23:58

Maisy, I have one Smile

SuburbanRhonda · 30/01/2016 00:09

Maisie / Maisy is extremely popular (I work in a primary school) but if you're ok with that, go for it.

Alisvolatpropiis · 30/01/2016 02:36

Delilah.

Deeply dislike Maisie.

PufflesMC · 30/01/2016 20:34

Maisy, but I think Delilah goes better :)

Sofiria · 31/01/2016 10:54

Delilah. Not keen on Maisie or Maisy.

PooDogMillionaire · 31/01/2016 11:59

Delilah is a more beautiful name, Maisy is cute and nickname-y.

crispytruffle · 01/02/2016 11:03

I love Delilah. I went to school with one and she was stunning, so I always think of it as a pretty name. Grin. I wouldn't give a damn about the song... who sings that now anyway?

Quercus3 · 01/02/2016 12:20

Delilah is delightful!

chrome100 · 01/02/2016 12:36

I am not so keen on either but at a push Delilah.
