Alice or Cara

Expecting dd2 within the next week or so (due 31st) so we've been trying to filter down our names list.

We like Emilia, but would probably use it as a middle name with either Alice or Cara. So...

Cara Emilia

Which do you prefer?

Cara! It's my DD 18's name - conceived on Italian honeymoon - so we chose it because it means dear or lovely. Like Sunshine says, Cara Emilia - it's beautiful and elegant.

Cara - makes me think of someone saying car with a stammer sorry.

I really like both. I think I prefer Cara. I think Carla is a nice name too, not sure if you'd consider it.

Alice, I think goes better with the second name. Two vowels together sound off to me.

Am not a fan of the name Cara but I always have to stop before I say it and think because my natural tendency is to say Ciara. Prefer Alice
