Love it and on my list for DC2!

iciclewinter · 18/01/2016 09:44

Sorry but I don't like it.

Tactfulcactus · 18/01/2016 09:50

Will always be Penelope Keith to me....showing my age. No longer the same connotations I'm sure!

sydenhamhiller · 18/01/2016 09:58

Really like it - and really liked Penelope Keith as Margot too. For me, Margot is also the big sister of Gerald Durrell in 'My Family and Other Animals', loved that book.

KoalaDownUnder · 18/01/2016 10:01

I do not like.

I don't like hard 'G' sounds, and it reminds me of 'maggot' when written.

Sorry. Sad

soundsystem · 18/01/2016 10:09

I love it!

(It was meant to be DD's name, but when she was born she I thought she just didn't look like a Margot. Until she was about 6 months old and then I decided she really did, but it was a bit late then (she suits her own name too, but I have occasionally thought Margot would have been a better choice)

Sophronia · 18/01/2016 13:29

It's definitely increasing it popularity. I think it's ok but it's not a favourite of mine.

Lebkuchenlover · 18/01/2016 13:30

I don't really like the hard g, Mar-got. Unless you plan to pronounce it the French way (Mar-gaux)?

CelestiaLuna · 19/01/2016 17:26

Faddy

alltouchedout · 19/01/2016 17:29

I like it. It has a certain old-school swish and glamour to it.
