Not heard of a Scott in a while

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
KoalaDownUnder · 17/01/2016 15:05

Nah. It's of an era with Brett/Jason/Troy/Bradley. Best left there, IMO.

ootsideinbacktaefront · 17/01/2016 15:12

I think its a lovely name Smile

Vixxfacee · 17/01/2016 15:13

No but troy mentioned above is nice.

DangerMouth · 17/01/2016 15:15

I like it. But then l like all of Koala's names Grin

Kingfisherfree · 17/01/2016 15:17

I think it's OK.

KoalaDownUnder · 17/01/2016 15:18

Grin Danger, they were all v common boys' names in 1980s Australia. I had loads in my classes, along with the more classic Matthews/Thomases/Daniels, etc. I think that's why they make me shudder!

KoalaDownUnder · 17/01/2016 15:20

Am fascinated to know which other names people would like, now. How about

Bruce
Wayne
Darren

sugarplumfairy28 · 17/01/2016 15:28

I think Scott is a very plain name, but then I do like the more uncommon names. DS is Miller, but also like Sailor, Ryder, and Turner.

Doublebubblebubble · 17/01/2016 15:31

I love Scott. Think it's lovely x

MagpieCursedTea · 17/01/2016 15:32

It would've been my name if I'd been a boy, I was born in the 80s though. I still think it's a nice name.

CharleyFarleyy · 17/01/2016 15:33

Beam me up Scotty Grin

I love but I am a Trekie so i may be biased Smile

TheCatsMeow · 17/01/2016 15:34

I personally love Bruce Koala and if I have another DS I want to call him that

Don't like the others though. Scott is okay

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 17/01/2016 15:36

I really like it.

DorotheaHomeAlone · 17/01/2016 15:40

Naughty boys from my 80s primary school spring to mind.

DangerMouth · 17/01/2016 15:43

I'm an Aussie too Koala which is why l think l like them slightly homesick. But l don't like any from your second list. That's just pushing the envelope too far Smile

iciclewinter · 17/01/2016 15:57

Neighbours in the 80s

Rainatnight · 17/01/2016 15:57

Exaxtly

Rainatnight · 17/01/2016 15:58

Or even, exactly.

OneMagnumisneverenough · 17/01/2016 16:05

I know Scott's of all ages but I am in Scotland :)

It doesn't sound dated at all to me as it's just one of those names that is always about.

Sophronia · 17/01/2016 16:36

It's not a favourite of mine, but I think it's a good name.

DontKillMyVibe · 17/01/2016 18:13

The only Scott I know is a man in his mid 30s who drives a white Suburi and wears and earring

squoosh · 17/01/2016 18:22

So many Scotts in Scotland.

Calling a Scot Scott always strikes me as being so very unimaginative.

Lizziedripping1 · 17/01/2016 18:43

Went to school, with loads of Scott's they all turned out to be criminals or on the dole so I don't have any good associations with the name

Sunshine511 · 17/01/2016 19:45

I'm sorry to say, I'm really not a fan. Not to my taste at all x

SoWhite · 17/01/2016 19:52

I really like it.
