DH & I can't agree on any boys names, although we both prefer traditional names.
He would like to use Tom/Thomas or Daniel, which I dislike. He is very keen to use a 'family name' (which these both are), but I feel that we will already have his family name as the child's surname.
I like Benjamin, Joshua, Joseph, Oliver, all of which DH dislikes.
He hates any name that's 'too English' (ie used by the royal family).

Any suggestions for names we might both like?

Thank you.

Well you could argue for Oliver after Oliver Cromwell if he does not want royal!

Put a family name in the middle name slot that should keep your DH happy and as its only a middle name I'm sure you can cope.

Oscar, Laurence, Marcus, Noah, Johnathan, James, Paul, Peter?
