I've just created 2 threads, about 2 names I wasn't sure on, but I think I have made my mind up on them - I suppose my style is slightly unusual/American?

Boys:
Haidan
Teddy (just Teddy, but maybe Tedrick)
Tommy (just Tommy)
Cooper
Hunter
Oakley

Girls:
Birdy (maybe Robin)
Bayleigh
Ashleigh
Alyvia
Astrid

The only girls name on your list I like is Astrid. I like it a lot!
I also like Olivia but not your spelling. Robin is OK but not Birdy.
Your boys names are not my style. I know a cute Oakley so don't mind that.

MooneyWormtailPadfootProngs · 05/01/2016 22:14

tedrick?

Wolfiefan · 05/01/2016 22:17

Tommy Cooper!

UntilTheCowsComeHome · 05/01/2016 23:04

I like Cooper and Hunter.

All of those girls names are horrible.

Sophronia · 05/01/2016 23:51

Don't like any of your boys names as they are on the list, but I do like Tommy if short for Thomas. I like Astrid from the girls.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 06/01/2016 11:33

I'm not taken with Birdy, Bayleigh or Alyvia tbh.

From your list if you have another boy I'd go for Tommy, if a girl I'd pick either Robin or Astrid.

RiverTam · 06/01/2016 11:37

Teddy (but not Tedrick!) and Astrid are both nice names.

InitialsError · 06/01/2016 11:43

Is Alyvia meant to be pronounced like Olivia?!? I was guessing at a pronunciation of Alve-ia.

Astrid is nice. As is Teddy (but not Tedrick!)

CakeRattleandRoll · 06/01/2016 15:35

I like Oakley and Astrid.

Love Teddy, but only as nn for Edward/Theodore/traditional Teddy name, not Tedrick!!

Sunshine511 · 07/01/2016 08:42

I don't personally like any of your girls names. In my opinion, they are too 'out there' by comparison to your sons name. The only one that isn't is Ashleigh but that name isn't to my taste.

As others have said, I like Teddy but only as a nn for Edward/Theodore. I also think Tommy is quite sweet.

Sorry I'm not a great deal of help with your girls list x

Sunshine511 · 07/01/2016 08:44

Actually, I do think Robin is a gorgeous name. Not a fan of Birdy though x

SummerMonths · 07/01/2016 08:46

Astrid

Teddy (never Tedrick!) or Tommy.
I used to like Hayden, it was my great grandfather's name, but the popularity of Jayden has ruined it.
