Emily Autumn?

Florene · 04/01/2016 18:47

Holly?

Florene · 04/01/2016 18:47

Holly? More seasonally appropriate than Autumn.

doitanyways · 04/01/2016 18:48

Sophia and Emily are my favourites from your list, if that helps.

Congratulations Flowers

Emily, Lauren and Sophia are my favourites from your list. But if you want a seasonal, nature name how about Rowan, Robyn or Ivy?

ITRESVG · 04/01/2016 19:10

i really like ivy, i'll ask dp and i like robyn too, or robin, but more so for a middle name :)

I like the idea of a seasonal name.

Natalie (born at Christmas)
Nieve (Spanish for snow)
Love Robyn and Ivy.

Sophronia · 04/01/2016 19:29

Victoria is my favourite, it's quite unusual nowadays but is a pretty, classic name.

SocksRock · 04/01/2016 19:31

Eira is the Welsh word for snow, so would be seasonally appropriate.

BikeRunSki · 04/01/2016 19:55

Although words for rain might be more appropriate this year!Smile

ITRESVG · 04/01/2016 19:57

lol, yes... she wore a christmas hat the day we took her home, so something christmasy would be nice, so thats why i am loving ivy and robin/robyn...

I love Robin and would have named my second dd it if I wasn't for the fact my dh brothers called it!

ITRESVG · 04/01/2016 20:00

yeah, i guess it is, but i go by months really (probs not the right thing to do! but i just do, so i class it as winter)

Autumn is the only one that you say you love so go with that one, it doesn't matter if she wasn't actually born in the autumn X

QueenMolotov · 04/01/2016 20:04

Personally, I love Robyn or Noëlle for a December-born girl.

As you mentioned the name Autumn (which is gorgeous but I agree isn't quite right for anyone December born) - what about Winter? I'm not usually a fan of Nicole Richie, but I think her dd has a beautiful name (Harlow Winter Kate). I like the Winter Kate bit Smile

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 04/01/2016 20:05

15 of December Is still autumn. Winter doesn't start until 21 December.

Scarydinosaurs · 04/01/2016 20:16

I love Ivy!

BeautifulLiar · 04/01/2016 20:19

Nooo we're not changing up seasons round here! I've done well having one baby for each season Blush

NadiaWadia · 04/01/2016 20:20

Emily and Sophia are beautiful names.

Victoria is quite nice, though you will probably get people saying it's dated. But Tori? Don't know about that, because of the political associations! You might not be able to stop people using 'Vicky' instead, anyway.

MajesticWhine · 04/01/2016 20:24

I love all the names on your list except for Autumn. It really stands out as the only non-traditional name, and I would go for traditional personally and I would go with Emily from your list. But go with what you love.
