Hetty as a nn. I loved Betty but DH not keen on Elizabeth. I never really thought about Henrietta but it's grown on me and I'm not sure if it's the hormones but I have grown to love it.

Love it. Lots of scope for nn (I know a Hetta and a Henri) and not overused. Go for it.

I love the nicknames but not Henrietta. I'm afraid I immediately think 'Henrietta Hippo', although that is just me.

How about Harriet?

FlyDragonfly1 · 04/01/2016 11:03

I only know of one Henrietta who is the same age as me, she goes by Hettie. I think it's lovely.

Harriet nn. Hattie is also lovely, although marginally more common (I know of three).

How about a name that can have Lettie as a nn.? Letitia, Violet, Scarlett to name a few :)

Best of luck - Henrietta is gorgeous.

Henrietta is lovely! Very cute but also works well on a lady. Beautiful name Smile

I love Henrietta!

Sorry I find it a bit too long and stodgy somehow. Harriet would be nice, though.

I think it's a lovely name.

(But I wouldn't use it if the surname is anything remotely edible)
