Middle names for Miranda

We have finally (I think!) decided on Miranda as the first name for dd1, due in March...but are still going back and forth on a middle name. The current list, in no particular order (most of these link to a favourite literary character or someone close to us - and Iris because it's a March flower and I love it, but not sure how it sounds with Miranda):

Miranda Lucy
Miranda Iris
Miranda Joan
Miranda Elisabeth
Miranda Jane
Miranda Constance

Our surname is a single syllable. Any thoughts / preferences? I just can't think straight now because we've thought about it too much. Ds1 is Frederick Robert (Fred) and the other lead contenders for first names were Elisabeth and Iris.

Miranda Iris is lovely and I prefer Miranda Jane to Miranda Joan. What about Miranda Nari, Miranda Ruth or Miranda Juliette?

Thanks everyone! I do like Miranda Ruth. Also Miranda Anne but with our surname that would spell MAW, as in 'gaping maw' so I think it's out! Miranda Juliette maybe a bit of a Shakespearean heroine overload (although I know spelt differently.) Thanks for the votes of confidence on Miranda Iris...

Do you think the initials MEW are a problem?! I find it a bit odd when initials spell a word. Eve is a goodie though. This is an issue with Miranda Elisabeth too!

I think Miranda Lucy sounds best.

I would avoid a middle name with a vowel as the first letter as it doesn't really flow. Also, as Miranda is three syllables, I would keep the middle name short, so Joan or Jane would work best.

I like Miranda Constance or Iris best.
What about Frances or Camille?

Thanks Northern! And everyone else. Really helpful. Although I seem to have gathered a couple of new ideas and not discarded any... The vowel thing with Iris is true but I can't decide how much it bothers me.

We only came up with Miranda Joan today but I really like it (could be pg hormones though). Had better revisit tomorrow I think!

Miranda Jane. Lovely. Agree that a short middle name after a three syllable first one would be best. Don't like the repeated r sounds of Miranda Iris.
