Eden.

AuntieStella · 31/12/2015 22:34

Ellen/Ellie

(I'm not wild about boys names on girls)

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 31/12/2015 22:53

Ellen

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 31/12/2015 23:14

Ellie.

Edie but short for Edith.

FlowerBellll · 01/01/2016 00:43

It's funny, I'm not that keen on Edith, so it is def between Eden or Ellen

Eden

perpetuallybewildered · 01/01/2016 00:52

Ellen - no contest.

Pobspits · 01/01/2016 00:53

Ellen or Edie not Eden or Ellie!!!!

There are ALOT of Edens here but haven't met a little Ellen

BendydickCuminsnatch · 01/01/2016 00:54

Ellen but not Ellie! Ellie is so overdone. Does Ellen really need a shortening? All the Ellens I know are just Ellen, and it's a lovely little-used name :) don't know any little Ellens.
Eden is pretty too though but more popular IME!

SinisterBumFacedCat · 01/01/2016 00:55

Eden definitely

Pancakeflipper · 01/01/2016 00:58

Ellen because the Ellen I know is one of the most lovely people I know. Whereas the Eden I know is a bit of a cow. Illogical reasoning but I've had some wine.

IoraRua · 01/01/2016 03:02

In contrast to pancake, the only Ellen I know is a total bitch Grin
I like Eden. Ellen is a bit drab in my opinion...and I thought that before I met the wagon.

NadiaWadia · 01/01/2016 06:04

Eden is lovely. And it's not a boy's name (I mean I know it sometimes is, but it sounds a lot more feminine to me).

Ellen is nice enough though, although I prefer Eleanor or Helena, or even Helen. Ella is pretty too, though a bit over-popular.

DragAct · 01/01/2016 08:30

Ellen. Eden sounds like a tiresome teenage boy band member.

ThursdayLastWeek · 01/01/2016 11:19

Ellen or Edie.

I love Edie short for Edith

Chewbecca · 01/01/2016 11:25

I always think Ellen sounds like Helen with the 'h' dropped (Essex so inevitable).

Purplehonesty · 01/01/2016 11:50

I like them both. Probably Eden for me tho; never met anyone called Eden.

spring1bee · 01/01/2016 12:04

I love them both but for different reasons. Ellen to me is very traditional, classic and elegant whereas Eden is a bit more edgy and "out there." I agree with others though that Edie is a lovely nn for Eden but Ellie is very overdone.

YeOldeTrout · 01/01/2016 12:09

Ellen. We know one (clever, nice, Queen Bee) who is 14.
Eden sounds hippy or religious. Are you hippies?

spring1bee · 01/01/2016 12:15

(having said that, I know a 16 year old Eden from a very "hoity-toity" UC family who chose it because of the family's roots in Eden Valley in Cumbria)

AMT2512 · 01/01/2016 12:45

I like them both :) I think I prefer Eden, but prefer Ellie... I'd go with Eden!

Vixxfacee · 01/01/2016 13:19

Eden but edie is ruining the name.

bruffin · 01/01/2016 13:31

Ellie, eden is awful

xmasseason · 01/01/2016 14:58

Ellen

I like Edie but not Eden
