Names you can't use

This is a thread for names that you love but can't use for various reasons eg OH doesn't like it, someone has ruined it, another family member/friend has named their baby it, ran out of children...
That way we can appreciate some beautiful names and maybe offer some inspiration to expectant parents-to-be so that these names may find a good home
I will go first...
Girls: Aria, Theia, Thalia, Maia
Boys: Logan, Aidan
Uni: Blake, Harper, Harley, Sam

Love Aidan, but DH won't let me use it :(

I love Eva for a girl... My sister in law has just had a baby called Evie, so that's out the window

Fraser, it's SIL's partner's surname.

Lily - cousin named her daughter Lily
Isla - close friend named her daughter Isla
Emma - family name but an awful girl ruined it

Gulliver. I love it but DH says no way.

DH hates Jared, Frederick, Felix and Laurence.
Only ever had one DD so I couldn't use Emmeline.

Gabriel. Well technically I could as they'd never be in room, nor would they ever meet.

Alba. D bil ruined it by talking about the electronics brand and then I was on the train one day a group of men were talking about a friends new baby man 1- "alba she's called..." man 2- "like the TV?"... my heart sunk and I knew it was a name resigned to the sidelines for me...

I loved Ruby and Rosie but DH hated them. I think DD would have been Ruby if he hadnt vetoed it.

Barnaby - love it, but husband not keen at all.

Elias - far too similar to my mil name. I'd never hear the end of it.

Flora our surname starts FL

Seraphina. both dh and I love it but none of our dds looked like one.

Allanah I adore it dh refused (turned out to be significant x but oh I love it)

Always adored Sebastian but dh hates it
Otis dh not keen .

Love Regitze However it just doesn't work in English.

Ruby. Our surname sounds like Tuesday luckily child is a DS.

Eloise: my name is Emma Louise

We also struggle because we have a ridiculously common surname and so it seems that there's someone famous with almost every name out there.

DH said no to Celeste

I can only make boys anyway...

Apparently Dorian, Jolyon and Joslyn are all too posh I have a Dbro called Rupert ffs, nothing is too posh as far as I'm concerned.

Jared would be perfect but it's my Godson's name.

Joel is too close to my name.

Many of my other loves are too pretentious, apparently ; Ignatius, Blaze, Ezekiel.

And I won't be using any of the beautiful names on my girls' list because I'm about to have my third boy and final baby!

Arthur - we called the dog Arthur 4 years ago when we had thought we were not having anymore dc. (Currently feeding 4 month old ds3!)

Lewis (DH had a friend at school called Lewis and he was a bit of a bad egg)
Rosie (good friend has a "Rose" and she'd be upset if I used Rosie)
Naiomi (DH doesn't like it)
Cassandra (Only Fools and Horses references)

Girls:

Florence. Well just because... not with our surname! So we called the gerbil Florence instead .
