To go with a double-barrelled surname. Any opinions? I like strong female names. Or any other ideas appreciated

Definitely Frida. After Frida Kahlo. Wanted this name for dd2 but our surname sounds quite Germanic (although it isn't) so I thought people would think she was German all the time.

I think Ezra is a boys' name so I would avoid that. Personally I don't like Scarlett (will get called Scar). Best are Lara and Elodie...

Yes after Frida Kahlo I do like it a lot. Although I know a dog with that name - but don't see owner or dog anymore - but still sticks!

Esra is a turkish girls name - I'm half turkish so did like it for that reason. To me it is very feminine sounding but strong.

Agree about Scarlett - H likes it a lot but I don't like that there's no nn for it

Lara is by far the best of these IMO. A lovely-sounding name, and not too many around.

Esme is pretty popular round here if that kind of thing bothers you
