Finding out the gender tomorrow: Darcy or Ella? & Noah or Oliver?

I know some people think Darcy is a boy's name, but I see it more for a girl.
I also know that Ella and Noah are really popular, but that doesn't bother me.
Oliver wouldn't be an Ollie and just Oliver on his BC - he would be an Oliver (I don't mind it being used, but not as a planned NN)...
Thanks :)

I like Darcy (though would spell it Darcey for a girl) and Noah the best.

Ella and Oliver also nice though

LydOak · 09/12/2015 22:55

The only spellings I would go with are Darcy or Darcie

Darcy and Oliver.

Ellas are everywhere, and Noah will date horrifically.

Darcy and Oliver

my vote is for Ella and Oliver, although if you had a girl and called her Ella, Oliver might then become out of the question if you have a boy down the line! And vice versa! If anyone did shorten it, you'd end up with Ella and Ollie! I think a little too similar. So worth thinking about which one of the 2 you prefer! If you love Oliver more than Ella and plan on having more children, it might be best not to use Ella for a girl! Sorry, I know what I mean in my head but not sure this makes sense!! Lol. Hopefully you can make some sense of it!!x

Darcy and Noah.

Obloquy · 10/12/2015 02:59

Ella and Oliver.

IamSantaClaus · 10/12/2015 07:41

Darcy and Noah

Darcy and Noah

starkers1 · 10/12/2015 10:40

OP sure you already know this but your names are crazily popular at the moment & I know babies called all 4 of your chosen names (some several times over) recently.

LydOak · 10/12/2015 12:20

It's a girl! Darcy seems to be winning - yes, I know they're popular, but I would rather a name we love

I prefer Ella.

Stollenlover · 10/12/2015 15:00

They're all very trendy and may start to sound dated as they fall out of favour.

If I had to choose, Darcy and Noah. And yes, Ella and Ollie wouldn't work!

LydOak · 10/12/2015 15:16

I wouldn't call him Ollie... His friends might, but my daughter would hardly be hanging around a brother and his friends!

What starkers said

Congrats on your pink bump! Fwiw I definitely would've gone for Oliver for a boy and I prefer Ella to Darcy, but I much prefer Isabella, Arabella, Annabella etc...gives you more options 😜.

Good luck with your choice - all lovely names!

Lottiedaydreambeliever2014 · 12/12/2015 11:43

I prefer Ella, the varieties for spelling Darcy would put me off, Ella would never have to spell it out. Noah is my favourite of the two.

lifeinslowmotion · 12/12/2015 11:46

Noah and Darcy.

Ella and Oliver have been done to death.

Oysterbabe · 12/12/2015 22:30

Darcy is probably the least popular of your choices so I'd go with that.
